BT365国际站’s Bachelor of 社会工作 degree prepares you to begin professional practice in a wide variety of 社会 service settings. You’ll learn to become a generalist 社会 work practitioner with the skills to work with diverse populations.

Students majoring in 社会工作 are required to 应用 to the Bachelor of 社会工作 Program. This is a separate process from declaring a 社会工作 major. BSW program applications are reviewed 和 approved or denied 由 BSW 招生 Committee.
的 admission requirements for the BSW program are as follows:
- Completion of 60 credit hours of college coursework.
- 累积平均绩点2分.50或以上. GPA is computed on all college credit, transfer 和 BT365国际站.
- 两封推荐信, one of which must be a college/university 社会 work faculty member; the second letter may be from a faculty member or another person known in a professional capacity.
- Completion of the following courses with a grade of “C” or better: SO 141 Introduction to 社会学; PS 101, Introduction to Psychology; MA 120 Basic Concepts of Statistics; SW 205, Introduction to 社会工作; 和 EN 306b, 专业写作. Students must also complete two semesters of one Modern Language (Spanish is preferred).
- Completion of all required materials in the Bachelor of 社会工作 admission packet, which includes a personal narrative 和 values statement that relates the student’s interest, experiences 和 goals in the 社会 work profession.
In accordance with CSWE accreditation st和ards, the BSW program does not grant course credit for previous work or life experiences.

的 BSW Program at BT365国际站 was granted full re-affirmation of accreditation 由 Council on 社会工作 Education (CSWE) in Spring 2019. 的 BSW Program is 认证 through Spring 2025.
的 CSWE Board of 认证 (CSWE-BOA), formerly CSWE Commission on 认证, is recognized 由 Council on Higher Education 认证 (CHEA) to confer accreditation status to baccalaureate 和 master’s 社会 work degree programs in the U.S.
